Infant Teacher

We are seeking a compassionate, nurturing, and reliable Infant Room Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Atlanta, GA. This role supports the Lead Infant Teacher in providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with infants, a strong understanding of infant development, and a commitment to supporting families and the center's mission.
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and routines that promote emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a warm, responsive, and respectful classroom environment that fosters trust and security for infants.
- Provide hands-on care for infants including feeding, diapering, soothing, and putting infants to sleep following safe sleep practices.
- Monitor and document infants' developmental milestones and communicate observations with Lead Teacher and parents.
- Sanitize toys, classroom materials, and changing areas daily to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist in supervising indoor and outdoor play to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Follow all center policies, Georgia Bright from the Start regulations, and health/safety guidelines.
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – Ratio (typically around 4:30 PM)
Year-round position
Closed on major holidays
