Join Us and Change the World.

Are you a world-class researcher and builder ready to apply your expertise to one of the most exciting challenges in technology today? We are building a revolutionary marketplace platform that connects elite engineering talent with unparalleled opportunities, all while delivering cutting-edge Generative AI (GenAI) solutions to enterprise clients.

We are looking for a Staff Data Scientist to be the intellectual engine behind our platform's intelligence. In this role, you will leverage deep statistical expertise, advanced modeling techniques, and rigorous research methods to shape the core of our business. Your work will directly define our talent-matching algorithms, enhance client engagement strategies, and drive the innovation that fuels our strategic growth. If you are driven to solve complex problems with real-world impact, this is your opportunity.

What We're Looking For: A Leader, Not Just a Scientist

At our company, leadership isn't about a title. It's about how you operate. As a Staff Data Scientist, you will be a role model for the entire organization. If the feedback from your peers sounds like this, we want to talk to you:

  • Low Ego, High Impact: You share credit and take ownership. You embrace being wrong because it means the team found an even better idea.
  • One Team Mentality: You are a natural collaborator who breaks down silos. You prioritize the company's mission above all else.
  • Hungry for Feedback: You are constantly seeking to improve—our product, our business, and yourself. You solicit diverse opinions and listen deeply to understand.
  • An Owner, Not a Renter: You don't just identify problems; you solve them or find the right person who can. The buck stops with you.
  • Player-Coach: You lead by example, rolling up your sleeves to tackle challenges head-on while actively mentoring and empowering your colleagues.
  • Business-Oriented Problem Solver: You don't just build models; you solve business problems. You are recognized for your ability to connect deep technical work to tangible outcomes.

What You'll Do: Your Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead Model Development: Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of advanced statistical, machine learning, and generative AI models for our core marketplace matching, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics engines.
  • Drive a Research-First Culture: Conduct deep, research-driven initiatives to improve the scalability, interpretability, and real-world performance of our AI models, ensuring they deliver measurable business value.
  • Architect Experimentation Frameworks: Build and implement robust experimentation platforms—including A/B testing, causal inference, and advanced statistical validation—to guide algorithmic and product decisions with data-driven confidence.
  • Partner for Production Excellence: Collaborate closely with Engineering and MLOps teams to ensure models are deployed efficiently, monitored effectively, and optimized for performance and scale in production.
  • Align Science with Strategy: Act as a key strategic partner to Product Managers, AI Specialists, and client-facing teams, translating customer needs and business goals into a clear data science roadmap.
  • Champion Innovation: Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in AI, GenAI, and marketplace technologies, proactively identifying and advocating for innovations that will give us a competitive edge.
  • Elevate the Team: Contribute thought leadership through internal presentations, external publications, and active mentorship, fostering a culture of technical excellence and intellectual curiosity.

What You'll Bring: The Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a STEM discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Engineering) with a significant research component.
  • Deep Expertise in mathematical modeling, optimization algorithms, and advanced statistical analysis.
  • Proven Track Record of designing, validating, and deploying sophisticated machine learning and Generative AI models into production, ideally within marketplace, recommendation system, or two-sided platform contexts.
  • Fluency in the Modern Data Science Stack, including Python, standard ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and SQL. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is essential.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills, with a demonstrated ability to distill highly complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A Collaborative Spirit with experience influencing and driving alignment across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bonus Points: A strong record of thought leadership through publications in top-tier conferences, patents, or open-source contributions.

Why Join Us?

  • Unmatched Impact: Your work will be at the very core of our product and business strategy. You won't just be supporting a feature; you'll be building the brain of our company.
  • A Culture of Excellence: Work alongside a team of driven, brilliant, and low-ego individuals who are passionate about our mission.
  • Pioneering Work: Tackle unsolved problems at the intersection of talent dynamics, marketplace economics, and Generative AI.
