Job Title: People Coordinator

Location: In person, Circle Beverage

Department: People/Culture/HR

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and people-focused People Coordinator to join our team.

This role is integral to supporting the daily operations of the People function and ensuring a

consistent, positive employee experience across the organization. From payroll and recruiting to

event planning and performance management, the People Coordinator will support key HR

functions while championing our company culture and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll & Benefits Administration

● Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.

● Serve as the primary liaison with third-party benefits providers.

● Support open enrollment, workers' compensation claims, and general benefits-related

tasks.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

● Manage full-cycle recruitment for open positions, including job postings, screening,

scheduling interviews, and coordinating offers.

● Coordinate onboarding for new hires to ensure a smooth and engaging experience.

Performance & Employee Relations

● Organize and manage the bi-annual performance review process.

● Support the administration of disciplinary actions and performance management

processes to ensure consistency across departments.

● Assist supervisors with resolving team member conflicts or workplace issues,

maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Culture & Engagement

● Responsible for team member engagement across a 24 hour operation. Is able to work a

flexible schedule to periodically be present on day shift (6a-2p), afternoon shift (2p-10p)

and overnight shift (10p-6a). The intent is to personally know all of our employees and

ensure they are heard and engaged.

● Coordinate periodic team-building events.

● Oversee the monthly recognition, work anniversary, and birthday recognition program.

● Conduct periodic team member surveys & project manage any changes identified in the

surveys.

● Support management in hosting onsite visitors and events to reflect a professional and

welcoming environment.

Administration & Coordination

● Schedule and coordinate regular management meetings and HR-related

communications.

● Maintain HR records and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal

requirements.

● Support general HR operations and assist with special projects based on your interests

and organizational needs.

● Support company managers with developmental, schedule and efficiency projects.

Qualifications:

Must-haves:

○ Experience working and thriving in positions without defined boundaries. You

are the type of person who finds problems to solve, rather than the type of

person who waits to be assigned a task.

○ Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to

detail. High proficiency in using email, phone, and Google Suite office tools.

○ Clear communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive

issues confidentially.

○ A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.

○ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Preferred

○ 1–3 years of experience in a Human Resources, administrative, or people

operations role.

○ Strong understanding of payroll and HR best practices.

○ Experience in managing projects of varying size, scope, and complexity.
