Continental Siding is looking for a highly motivated individual seeking a long-term career, with the market's top home improvement company.

Job Purpose: This position is primarily responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchase orders, sales orders, transfer orders, and company policy. As well as delivering and offloading at customers' homes or other warehouse locations.

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. or until daily tasks and deliveries are completed.

Wage: $18 - $22 per hour, dependent on the candidate's skills and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processing, packaging, and shipping orders accurately.
• Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory.
• Inspecting products for defects and damage.
• Examining incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Organizing warehouse space.
• Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Checking, verifying, and filling sales orders and transfer orders.
• Abiding by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Contributing ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized daily.
• Reviewing orders prior to delivery
• Performing vehicle inspection before departing
• Loading and unloading delivery items safely and efficiently
• Following predetermined routes and schedules
• Navigating routes using relevant map programs
• Delivering goods and collecting payment if necessary
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellent customer service
• Maintaining a clean and valid driver's license

Job Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Class E driver's license endorsement (Chauffer's License)
• Ability to pass a Proven warehouse experience
• DOT physical and obtain a DOT medical card
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy products
• High school diploma
