Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host and Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

  • Efficiently deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area while ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and assisting with resetting for new guests.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Support the host/host team during peak hours by managing guest flow and maintaining positive guest relations.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and guest relations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and serving techniques is beneficial.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries when needed.
