HBI Amerilab Technologies is a growing and leading US manufacturer in the development, manufacturing, and packaging of effervescent tablets, and effervescent and non-effervescent powders in stick packs and sachets, and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team.
Schedule:
Friday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (12 hour shifts)
- Receive full-time 40-hour pay and benefits while working just 36 hours
- Training Schedule Requirement: To get started, you'll need to be available for training during one of the following shifts:
- Monday to Thursday, 1st shift, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Monday to Thursday, 2nd shift, 4:20 PM – 2:50 AM
Assist the Quality Department with a wide array of duties including inspection and clearance of production rooms and equipment, review of production batch records, inspection and testing of raw materials, and participating in audits as necessary. Performs duties under the direction of the Quality Management
Your responsibilities will include:
- Examines cleanliness of production rooms and equipment to determine compliance.
- Performs product and operational GMP audits with reports.
- Participate in teams to investigate audit findings, determine root causes and develop solutions.
- Communicates findings and assists in developing corrective action.
- Performs incoming inspections and testing of raw materials and packaging components
- Performs in-process testing.
- Completes testing reports as necessary
- Coordinates outside testing of materials as needed
- Conduct product complaint investigations and report to Quality Management.
- Reviews batch records for GDP.
- Monitors temperature and humidity of warehouse and production rooms.
- Releases finished product.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Safety Protocol:
- Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
- Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
- Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:
Education / Experience / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology or science field preferred
- Previous technical experience at the entry level, preferably in the quality or production area
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of GMP's.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language to clearly communicate with staff at levels and to develop working relationships across departments.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Punctual and organized, maintaining a clean work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects as scheduled and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain accurate, legible and complete documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through completion without loss of quality.
