The Sales Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for customers who have questions or an issue with our products.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by providing product information and resolving product problems.
  • Familiarize yourself with current information about products available for sale.
  • Recommends potential products to customers analyzing customer needs.
  • Attracts potential customers by answering product questions and suggesting information about other products.
  • Has daily customer contact via phone or in person with the designated stores.
  • Must understand the various grades, selections, and variety of meat cuts.
  • Solicit and process customer orders.
  • Ensure customers receive timely and accurate information on product availability, quality, and price.
  • Suggest substitutions to customers for items ordered that are unavailable while encouraging customers to purchase the maximum possible amount of product conducive to their business.
  • Respond to customer phone inquiries and ensure that customer needs are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Identify, qualify, and make phone solicitations of potential new customers.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Customer service orientated – Excellent interpersonal skills that demonstrates,

the ability to communicate orally in a clear and positive manner with customers to

resolve matters related to accounts.

· Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to generate and maintain accurate and concise written records.
  • Experience in meat sales, either wholesale or retail, is a must.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
