We are seeking a Consultant to join Avaap's Data & Analytics team. The D&A team team use their technical skills to enable business processes by linking systems, engineering data, and building reports to enable business processes. Coding, programming, and complex data analysis are commonly used in addition to the flexibility, drive, communication, and analytical skills that are core to any successful consultant. You'll be supported by other consultants on your team, but the chances are good you'll grow and develop by being pushed outside of your comfort zone. All that comes with a huge upside – constant learning, the support to pursue certifications and training aligned to the work you're doing and contributing to the company's and our clients' success.

Desired Experience And Skills

  • Demonstrated work experience using SQL for analyzing data and developing data-driven solutions
  • Demonstrated work experience using Python for analyzing data and developing data-driven solutions
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and handle competing priorities
  • Flexibility to learn new skills, clients, and geographies
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Working experience with ETL/ELT and/or analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx, Data Factory, dbt, Informatica, DataStage, etc.)
  • Demonstrated work experience with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Cognos etc.)
  • Demonstrated work experience in modern data lake/warehouse platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
  • Solid understanding and exposure to modern, enterprise data management and analytics best practices
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel tools and functions
  • Experience in analytics, system development life cycle, and/or computer programming
  • Experience creating data models, data visualizations, etc.

Pay Transparency

Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.

  • Base Salary Range is $90,000 to $120,000 plus 15% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
  • During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration
  • Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap's physical office locations
  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
