Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences.
  • Engage children with age-appropriate activities that foster learning, creativity, and social skills.
  • Assist with daily routines such as diapering, dressing, bathing, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
  • Support children's educational development through teaching basic skills, reading stories, and encouraging curiosity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys and play areas.
  • Administer first aid when necessary, following proper procedures to ensure children's safety.
  • Collaborate with parents or guardians to understand specific needs or instructions related to caregiving or medical requirements.
  • Adapt activities and care routines for children with special needs or disabilities as required.
  • Foster positive behavior through encouragement, patience, and consistent discipline strategies aligned with family guidelines.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about the child's day, milestones, or any concerns that arise during caregiving hours.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in settings such as nannying preferred with min 3 years of solid experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of infant care practices including feeding schedules, diapering, sleep routines, and developmental milestones.
  • Experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children with patience and enthusiasm.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is strongly recommended to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
  • Familiarity with caring for children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and understand individual child requirements.
