POSITION OVERVIEW:

Looking for Experienced Line Cooks for Dinner Service at Our Newest Giuseppes Restaurant in Palm Desert after 17 amazing years in our Palm Springs location, and we are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate individuals to join our team. Whether you're interested in cooking, providing exceptional service, or handling takeout orders, we have a role for you Our ideal candidates will bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.

ROLES AVAILABLE:

  • Cooks (Line Cook): Responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating dishes to meet the restaurant's standards, ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and sanitary.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS (for all roles):

  • Approach all interactions with guests and employees in an attentive, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to maintain food and work safety.
  • Willingness to assist with various duties as needed across different stations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak hours.
  • A positive attitude and dedication to providing excellent guest service.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information when necessary.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Cooks (Line Cook, Prep Cook): 3+ years of back-of-house kitchen experience required.

ALL ROLES REQUIRE:

  • Must provide non-slip shoes.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (for all roles):

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • May need to carry food or other items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Requires repetitive motions (grasping, reaching, etc.) and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
