Control Room Operator

- Monitor onshore production facilities, wells, alarms, and performance in real time
- Act as liaison between field operations, drilling, completions, and construction teams
- Coordinate and dispatch Lease Operators, third-party trucking, and field services
- Utilize Cygnet, ForeSite, and other SCADA platforms for surveillance and optimization
- Perform root-cause analysis on production issues and abnormalities
- Execute the "Pump by Priority" program, including remote pumping and control adjustments
- Remotely operate automated equipment, chokes, valves, and control devices
- Create and manage maintenance work orders through K-2
- Track and follow up on all dispatched work until resolved
- Monitor field cameras for safety, security, and workflow verification
- Direct crude oil, fresh water, produced water, drilling mud, and other fluid logistics
- Produce operational reports and updates using Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, GIS, and Power BI
Support and communicate during emergency or abnormal operating conditions under Apache's Incident Command System
2–5 years of experience as Lease Operator, Automation Technician, Production Technician, or Control Room Operator
- Working knowledge of production processing equipment and artificial lift systems
- Ability to monitor and navigate SCADA systems (Cygnet)
- Basic understanding of compression and water recycling/disposal
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating day/night schedule and sit for prolonged periods
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency
- 5–10 years of production or control room operations experience
- Well optimization and troubleshooting experience
- Downhole and BHA knowledge
- Familiarity with artificial lift, compression, and EOR (Waterflood/CO2/Steam injection)
- Experience using SCADA and surveillance systems such as LOWIS, XSPOC, Foresite
- Oilfield logistics experience
- Ability to think independently, problem solve, and manage multiple priorities
The Remote Operations Center Operator actively monitors upstream assets to ensure safe, efficient production operations. This position serves as the central communication hub for field operations by monitoring wells and facilities, identifying abnormal operating conditions, coordinating logistics, dispatching field personnel, and supporting incident response. The Operator will utilize SCADA and surveillance systems to detect issues, troubleshoot, optimize production, and ensure priorities are addressed in a timely manner.
Schedule:- 7/7 Rotating Hitch
- Hitches include days and nights, typically one night hitch every 1–1.5 months
