At Augurian, we believe work should be meaningful, fun, and growth-oriented. We're a Minneapolis-based digital marketing agency on a mission to help small-but-mighty marketing teams win with clarity and confidence. Our culture is built on trust, transparency, and shared success — and we live our values every day:

  • Build Innovation – Pitch it, test it, prove it, use it
  • Honor Teamwork – Goodbye silos, hello high-fives

Our hybrid model means we come together in person one day a week (Wednesdays) to collaborate, connect, and innovate — and work remotely the rest of the time. It's the best of both worlds.

Job Overview

As a Senior Paid Media Analyst you will play a critical role in shaping data-driven strategies, driving performance, and delivering measurable impact for our clients. We're looking for someone with 3+ years of paid media experience who is ready to deepen their strategic influence, work closely with cross-functional teams, and help push our clients' marketing programs forward.

In this role, you'll be a trusted subject matter expert, a strategic thought partner, a process innovator, and a dependable executor. You'll help lead conversations with clients, mentor teammates, and find new ways to deliver exceptional results.

What You'll Do

Account Strategy

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop paid media strategies that align with client goals and objectives.
Manage and execute paid media strategies while identifying opportunities for proactive client growth.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement recommendations that drive measurable impact.

Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for small to medium-sized client accounts and begin to lead larger accounts in partnership with senior team members.
  • Communicate campaign strategies, performance updates, and recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Address client feedback thoughtfully to ensure client satisfaction and trust.

Account Execution

  • Implement and maintain paid media campaigns across platforms including PPC, display, and social.
  • Provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Manage budgets, bids, and targeting strategies to achieve client goals.
  • Ensure execution aligns with industry best practices, client guidelines, and the Augurian process.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Develop and communicate data insights that drive smart decision-making.
  • Build and use reporting dashboards and visualizations to clearly articulate performance trends.
Monitor and analyze KPIs to evaluate campaign success and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for both internal teams and clients.
  • Optimize the use of analytics platforms to improve data accuracy and reporting capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Organic Search, Analytics, Sales, and other departments to deliver integrated strategies that maximize client impact.
  • Participate in cross-team processes where collaboration adds value.

Thought Leadership and Practice Development

  • Identify and test opportunities to improve paid media processes and strategies.
  • Implement best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay current on industry-leading tools, technologies, and trends.
  • Actively contribute to the development of internal practices and traditions.

What Makes This Role Special

You'll step into a team that values expertise and collaboration. You'll have the opportunity to shape strategy, mentor emerging talent, and influence how we deliver best-in-class paid media work. Your voice and ideas will matter, and you'll work alongside experienced strategists who thrive on learning, growth, and delivering results together.

A Great Fit If You Are

  • Experienced in paid media execution 3+ and ready to level up strategically
  • Confident in analyzing data and translating it into actionable insights
  • A clear, proactive communicator with clients and teammates
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
  • Passionate about digital marketing and motivated to push boundaries
