Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed to the highest standards, contributing to a clean and safe environment. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaning Technician will also be expected to handle various equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces.
  • Assemble and disassemble cleaning equipment as necessary for effective operation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Operate box trucks for the delivery of cleaning supplies and equipment when required.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on cleaning equipment.
  • Refrigerate and store cleaning supplies properly to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with cleaning machinery or appliances.
  • Read and interpret schematics for equipment repair or maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with field service operations is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to appliance repair or equipment repair is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
