About the role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a seasoned Principal Project Manager to lead the deployment of the D5 Magellan release within Global Business Services (GBS). This critical role supports a large-scale ERP transformation initiative designed to unify business processes, systems, and data across the enterprise. As a strategic leader within the program, you will drive global deployment efforts, ensuring readiness, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment across regions and stakeholders.

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for the D5 Magellan deployment, ensuring alignment with global templates and enterprise standards
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for multi-site deployment activities
  • Partner with GBS leadership, Magellan program teams, and functional leaders to drive stakeholder readiness and adoption
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks while escalating critical issues to maintain project timelines
  • Collaborate with Change Network Leads to support communications, training, and stakeholder readiness
  • Deliver regular status reports, risk updates, and key milestones to senior leadership, ensuring compliance with program governance
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), data cleansing, and system integration activities to ensure operational readiness for go-live

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in project or program management
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience leading large-scale ERP or digital transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex global projects within a matrixed organization
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and deliver results under tight deadlines

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see —will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
