Position Overview

The Prep Cook is responsible for daily prep production, ingredient organization, and supporting station cooks to ensure the kitchen is set up for success. This role is essential to maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency throughout service. If you take pride in working clean and being a reliable part of the kitchen, this is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily prep lists with accuracy and efficiency
  • Follow recipes, portion standards, and labeling procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and prep area
  • Properly store, rotate, and handle ingredients according to food safety standards
  • Assist line cooks with set-up and support during service as needed
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to maintain workflow

Requirements

  • Experience in a scratch kitchen, prep station, or culinary setting preferred
  • Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques
  • Ability to stay focused, organized, and consistent in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and positive attitude — we work as a team
  • Sunday availability is required

Compensation

  • Pay is competitive and based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
