Technical Sales Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of computer networking, cloud technologies, and virtualization, along with excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and deliver compelling product demonstrations.
Duties
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.
- Engage in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and technical assessments.
- Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Provide ongoing support to customers post-sale, ensuring successful implementation and usage of products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape.
Requirements
- Prior experience in technical sales or pre-sales engineering is preferred.
- Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in computer networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or VMware.
- Familiarity with programming languages including Python and Bash (Unix shell).
