Job description:

THE HIGHER PAY RATE DEPENDS ON THE SKILL OF THE CLIENT, LOCATION OF THE CLIENT, AND EXPERIENCE.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated nursing assistants to join our non-medical team. We have many full and part-time hours available throughout East Bay area and Providence surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our clients in the privacy of their homes. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the attention and care they need during their daily living activities. Most of our clients are ambulatory and can use the bathroom with little to no assistance. Enjoy a flexible schedule and higher pay rates. We assign you to one client at a time, possibly two, but no more than that. There is no driving from client to client, putting tons of miles on your car. We do pay mileage for travel between clients. Duties

  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure if needed.
  • Ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation of the patient if needed.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Document patient information accurately in the communication book.
  • Collaborate with office staff when there is a change in the client's status.
  • Ability to work with families and follow HIPPA laws.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid RI CNA license in good standing.
  • Must have all immunizations required by the RI DOH.
  • Must have a cell phone to clock in and out of shifts.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be a team player and able to work independently with the client.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work.
  • CPR certification preferred.
