AMD Environmental, a well-established environmental consulting company, is looking for an experienced Full Time Environmental Sampling Technician for our Buffalo, NY office. This person will work approximately 40 hours per week and provide field and office support for the company project managers and field staff.

Core Duties Include:

  • Completing field appointments and site visits
  • Completing and reviewing daily project documentation and paperwork
  • Maintaining inspection records, spreadsheets, time sheets, etc.
  • Performing field sampling and report preparation
  • Conducting visual inspections of project work areas
  • Maintaining Contractor/Client communications
  • Assisting with special projects (projects require travel throughout WNY area)
  • Sampling and inspections or residential, commercial , and industrial properties .

Applicants must be polished, well-mannered, and personable. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in addition to strong proofreading and multitasking skills are also important to succeed in this role. This position is well suited to someone with years of construction or building science background.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma, required
  • Current DOL Asbestos Project Monitor/Inspector License, Preferred
  • 2-3 years of field experience
  • Construction and Building Science background
  • General knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
