to join its growing team. The firm manages capital on behalf of institutional and high-net-worth investors, with a disciplined, research-driven strategy focused on identifying asymmetric opportunities across biotechnology, medtech, and healthcare services. The team is committed to delivering superior, risk-adjusted returns while maintaining a high standard of transparency and integrity in investor communications.
Position Overview
The Investor Relations Associate will play a critical role in supporting the firm's capital raising efforts, strengthening existing investor relationships, and ensuring clear, consistent communication between the investment team and external stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative environment with deep expertise in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for existing and prospective investors, providing timely updates on fund performance, strategy, and portfolio positioning.
- Prepare and maintain investor-facing materials including pitch decks, quarterly letters, fact sheets, and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
- Coordinate investor reporting processes, including capital calls, distributions, and audit-related communications, in collaboration with fund administrators and internal teams.
- Support fundraising initiatives by identifying and engaging prospective investors, coordinating roadshows, and managing data room materials.
- Maintain the firm's CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of investor interactions and records.
- Conduct market and peer analysis to inform investor engagement and positioning strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience in investor relations, capital raising, or client service—preferably within hedge funds, private equity, or broader asset management.
- Strong familiarity with financial markets; experience or interest in healthcare investing is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and professionally.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related discipline; CFA or CAIA designation is a plus but not required.
