Join Us We're seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in building and managing innovative products for Healthcare Providers and Employers. As our Senior Engineering Manager, you'll be at the forefront of healthcare technology innovation, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools and modern development practices to accelerate product delivery and enhance team productivity. You'll work closely with product teams and other engineering leaders to ensure our solutions meet the complex needs of healthcare organizations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership and Management
  • Lead and mentor a globally distributed engineering team (onshore and offshore), fostering a culture of ownership, high quality, and continuous improvement
  • Manage team performance, career development, and growth opportunities for engineers at all levels
  • Drive technical excellence while maintaining team velocity and morale in a remote-first environment
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across time zones and cultural differences to keep the team aligned and productive
  • Product Development and Strategy
  • Partner closely with product management to define technical roadmaps and prioritize feature development
  • Ensure successful delivery of healthcare solutions for providers and employers, from conception to production
  • Drive architectural decisions that support scalability, security, and healthcare compliance requirements
  • Drive the adoption and integration of AI-powered development tools and low-code/no-code solutions to enhance team productivity
  • Technical Excellence
  • Oversee full-stack development across web and mobile platforms, ensuring robust and scalable architectures
  • Guide implementation of healthcare integrations and interoperability standards
  • Establish and maintain engineering best practices, code quality standards, and testing protocols

Required Qualifications
  • Management and Leadership Experience
  • 6+ years of engineering management experience with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Proven experience managing remote and distributed engineering teams
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with experience developing engineers at different career stages
  • Experience working in dynamic startup environments with rapid growth and changing priorities
  • Technical Expertise
  • Deep understanding of full-stack development and modern web architectures
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare product development and understanding of healthcare workflows, especially around Ordering and Observations
  • Knowledge of healthcare integration standards, including FHIR, HL7, and related protocols and message types, including ORUs, ORMs, ServiceRequest, DeviceRequest, DeviceResponse, Observation, etc.
  • Experience with EMRs, such as Epic, Cerner, eCW, Athena, etc.
  • Understanding of healthcare data concepts such as orders, claims, eligibility, and patient records
  • Experience with healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.)
  • Modern Development Tools and AI Integration
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools such as , Claude AI, ChatGPT, Cursor, and similar platforms
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms and automation tools like n8n
  • Passion for exploring and implementing emerging technologies to enhance team productivity

$200,000 - $250,000 a year The US base salary range for this full-time position is $200,000 - $250,000. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include bonuses, equity, or benefits.
