DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Act as internal sales leader for the lending product, liaising with leadership and the Florida Private Wealth Management Team to ensure lending is a core part of the JP Morgan offering. Partner with Bankers on sophisticated credit needs for client penetration and cross selling, and coordinate sales efforts with Investors and Wealth Advisors. Structure and deliver creative financing solutions or restructuring in response to client liquidity needs, within acceptable credit and risk parameters. Maintain an ongoing dialogue with existing credit clients and prospects, understand their personal capital structure, and advise the same. Play a lead role in deal structuring and negotiation with Credit Risk.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Lending Specialist, Banker, Commercial and Investment Credit Banker, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Lending Specialist, Banker, Commercial and Investment Credit Banker, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Calculating, structuring, and presenting securities-based lending structures and floating and fixed rates; analyzing, structuring, and presenting custom lending structures, collar plus loans, and unsecured loans for life insurance, art, aircraft, yacht, commercial real estate, single stock loan, and restricted stock financing; negotiating loan structures with credit executives; negotiating loan terms with high net-worth clients; negotiating loan documents with clients and lawyers; fundamental credit risk underwriting, including analysis of leverage, debt coverage, asset composition, and cash flow; credit portfolio management, including margin calls and covenant monitoring; conducting analysis of financial statements and risk profiles for high net-worth clients, including their businesses and sources of wealth; applying U.S. GAAP and international accounting standards to financial statement analysis and risk profiles of private bank clients and credit structures; preparing and presenting lending trainings for private bank advisors and practice groups based on real-world case studies, regulatory compliance, and lending procedures; executing strategic lending initiatives; wealth planning, including trust and estate planning; monitoring equity and fixed income markets and evaluating downstream impacts to client collateral, financial statements, and portfolios; analyzing hedge fund investments, including lockup provisions, gating, redemptions, and their attributes; analyzing private equity investments, including J curve, vintage, contribution, and distribution flows; analyzing volatility and margin requirements in major foreign currencies; evaluating interest rate risk, including hedging and fixing strategies and advising clients on implementing these strategies based their interest rate and cashflow considerations.

Job Location: 1450 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL This position requires up to 25% domestic travel to client and JPMC sites.
