NC Works Inc is seeking a 1st shift Electrical/ Mechanical Technician to join our team and assist with maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate is experienced with commercial and industrial production equipment and be able to work with a wide range of people. Experience in preventative maintenance is a plus. The ability to follow directions and to work independently as well as part of a group.

Responsibilities:

MUST HAVE SOME PRODUCTION MACHINERY MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE AS WELL AS SOME ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.

  • Measure electrical current, voltage and resistance in electrical equipment.
  • Inspect electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with electrical equipment.
  • Communicate professional information clearly to coworkers.
  • Ability to read and understand relay logic and schematic diagrams.
  • Comfortable working with multiple voltages including 480 vac. 3 phase.
  • Remove and replace electrical and mechanical components.
  • Must be able to climb and work from various heights using ladders and lifts.
  • Must have experience with various hand tools.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to maintain quality control.
  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and repair equipment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Hours:

Monday - Friday , 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 per hour
