Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Employment the Employment Specialist are responsible for managing the process for internal vacancies which includes; posting of positions, reviewing bidders, communicating with internal bidders and managers, extending offers, and dispositioning candidates. Employment Specialist must have knowledge of various union contracts, non-union policies, and various benefit plans. Utilizes various systems in managing workflow: Infor, Microsoft Word & Excel, Oracle/Discover
Education And Credentials
High school diploma or equivalent. AAS degree preferred. Familiarity with various HR programs preferred.
Experience
1-2 years previous office experience, preferably in Human Resources. Familiarity with various human resources programs preferred. Knowledge of union contracts preferred.Knowledge of office systems, equipment, and procedures required. PC skills with various software applications, 40 WPM keyboarding skills.
