Job Description

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Driver in Avon Lake, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in an automotive environment, you will monitor designated areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and proactive engagement will foster a welcoming atmosphere while you interact with employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will operate company or client vehicles as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor premises to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access within the auto industry environment.
• Report any suspicious activities, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence as a representative of Allied Universal, supporting a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
