Inside the Role

Interns will gain knowledge and experience through exciting and real-life learning opportunities. Interns must work in accordance with DTNA's core values of passion, respect, integrity and discipline. Internship positions can be located at various DTNA locations across the US. We are looking for high performing and motivated individuals in various areas within DTNA organizations. DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.

Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.

The Digital Workplace team within the Information Technology Infrastructure and Operations supports all aspects related to technology hardware and software. We have local experts that interact with our global teams to help drive technology innovations for Daimler Truck North America. This intern would be a resource for those needing support on using Collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365 SharePoint, One Drive, Copilot, and other collaboration tools. This includes providing trainings, researching solutions, and helping in creating documentation. This intern should be someone who is proactive and has skills in collaborating with others including global colleagues, local colleagues, and those in other departments.

Salary placement is determined by your anticipated graduation year and ranges between $21 - $29 per hour.

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Assist in technology rollouts such as Microsoft 365 feature roll outs, SharePoint development, and collaboration systems upgrades.
  • Document solutions for technical reference and provide high-level user guides.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate concepts and assist in executing strategies for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Develop technical content marketing materials and assist with the creation of visually engaging graphics, animations, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, Information Technology, Global Digital Workplace teams, and Service Desk to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Lead and support efforts to foster an inclusive and welcoming workplace culture where everyone belongs.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program or higher from an accredited college/university OR have recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date (May/June) 
  • Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite is preferred (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.)
  • Basic Microsoft 365 and other online tool knowledge 
  • Knowledge or experience with AI tools preferred
  • Ability to work in an environment of technical focus and ongoing change
  • Customer-oriented with the drive to develop customer-focused solutions
  • Passion for creating documentation and organizing a digital presence
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Creative mindset
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
