Summary:

The Licensing Team Lead will support Licensed sales agents and assist Licensing Account Managers with the onboarding process for contracts, licensing, and carrier appointments. Medicare experience is preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up agents with state insurance courses and assist with application submissions
  • Send onboarding links to newly licensed agents
  • Educate agents on individual carrier onboarding and certification processes
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of all records
  • Support contracting processes and purchase non-resident licenses as needed
  • Manage agency contracting and licensing for all active agents and downlines
  • Oversee state certifications, ensuring all training and certs are completed and kept up to date
  • Run and maintain accurate reports of all contracting agents and their status
  • Process and manage agent releases
  • Maintain and manage agency passwords and usernames for carrier and licensing
  • portals
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for contracting and
  • licensing
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Licensing Manager
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively via email, phone, and in-person

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in licensing and Medicare contracting
  • Strong understanding of carrier contracting processes and state licensing
  • requirements
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and databases
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 8-hour shift, Monday – Friday
