Boston, Massachusetts, United States Trellis Full time

Trellis is a profitable, fast-growing Series A startup backed by General Catalyst, QED, NYCA, and Amex Ventures. We're reimagining how people shop for home and auto insurance, using smart technology to make something historically painful feel refreshingly easy.

Every day, we help people save time, money, and unnecessary headaches. Behind the scenes, our fully remote team moves fast, owns their craft, and builds products that genuinely make life better.

Led by a three-time fintech founder with a proven track record of going big, we're building something special, and we're just getting started.

If you're hungry to make an impact and love solving complex problems with a scrappy crew, you'll love it here.

About the Role

Trellis is hiring our first-ever Talent Coordinator to help us grow the incredible team behind our fast-scaling insurance marketplace. You'll be the engine that keeps our recruiting process running smoothly; from sourcing and scheduling to making sure every candidate has a world-class experience (and a smile along the way ).

You'll work closely with our Agency Talent Partner to support high-volume hiring for our insurance agency team and partner with our Technical Recruiter to help source for engineering, data, and G&A roles. This is a dynamic, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and loves building processes that make teams more efficient.

This is a fully remote position, based in the U.S. or Canada, reporting directly to the Head of People, Brittany Fiore.

We believe in paying competitively for great work. As a remote team, we set our salaries at the 75th percentile of national market data in our industry. You can count on your pay being in line with (or above) the market. For this role, the base salary range is $70,000 – $80,000. We review compensation twice a year to make sure we're staying competitive and rewarding our team's contributions.

Who You Are
  • Detail-obsessed: You love keeping things organized, on time, and on track.
  • People-person: You're energized by helping others and making meaningful connections.
  • Communicator: You write clearly, speak confidently, and know how to keep everyone in the loop.
  • Nimble: You're comfortable juggling multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Collaborator: You work cross-functionally with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership teams with ease.
  • Tech-forward: You're comfortable using tools like Greenhouse, Slack, and LinkedIn Recruiter, or excited to learn them.
  • Ambitious: You're eager to grow your career in recruiting and learn the ins and outs of startup talent.
What You'll Do
  • Partner with recruiters to schedule interviews, coordinate hiring logistics, and ensure a seamless experience for candidates
  • Source high-quality talent for agency roles (insurance sales agents, team leads, etc.) to keep our hiring pipeline full
  • Support technical and corporate recruiting by assisting with scheduling, candidate outreach, and interview feedback
  • Keep our ATS (Greenhouse) spotless; posting jobs, updating stages, and tracking candidates in real time
  • Help optimize recruiting workflows to make our process faster, smoother, and more efficient
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, acting as a friendly and responsive point of contact
  • Represent the Trellis brand and culture in every interaction, showing candidates what makes us an amazing place to work
What You'll Need

  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting coordination and sourcing, (agency or startup experience is a bonus)
  • Stellar organizational and multitasking skills—you thrive on managing lots of moving parts
  • Excellent communication and follow-through skills
  • Familiarity with an ATS (Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby preferred) and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Google Workspace, and Slack
  • A can-do attitude, resourcefulness, and sense of humor
  • A genuine passion for helping people find their next great role

We are an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.Note: all employees must complete a background check prior to starting employment with Trellis or its subsidiaries.

Why Trellis? Because life's too short for boring jobs.

We're a team of builders, dreamers, and doers reshaping an industry that touches every household in America. At Trellis, you'll have real ownership, meaningful impact, and the chance to grow alongside a company that's scaling fast.

  • Home office budget to set up your perfect workspace
