BR+A is seeking an experienced HR Generalist in our Boston Office.

Job Summary:

The Human Resource Generalist will assist with handling the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing, maintaining immigration records, ensuring project badge compliance and enforcing company policies and practices. 

Duties/Responsibilities:Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certificationsRecruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openingsPerforms routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to, talent management, Immigration, and project badge complianceHandles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staffMaintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment lawMaintains tracking of all immigration cases. Works with the HR Director, Principals, employees, and attorneys to ensure all cases are setup and tracked accordingly for U.S. Foreign national employeesMaintains proper badging credentials for employees traveling onsite to client projects Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities: 

Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityThorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulationsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareProficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organizations HRIS and talent management systems. Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration required8-12 years of related experience requiredSHRM-CP designation preferred
