We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role is essential in upholding the high standards of hygiene and presentation that our establishment is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • Ensure all guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Carry out floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, and polishing as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
  • Assist in laundry duties as required, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented.
  • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning, with a strong understanding of various cleaning techniques and products.
  • Familiarity with floor care procedures and equipment.
  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred, enhancing the ability to meet guest expectations.
  • Knowledge of janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
  • Custodial experience that demonstrates attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
  • Housekeeping management skills are beneficial for those looking to advance within the organization.
