Position Details:

  • Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Early Intervention
  • Status: Contract / Per Diem (Full-time & Part-time opportunities available)
  • Locations Served: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island
  • Start Date: Immediate openings available

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
  • Implement individualized family service plans (IFSPs)
  • Support development of fine/gross motor skills, self-care, sensory processing, and play skills
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with NYS Early Intervention Program (EIP) standards
  • Participate in supervisory meetings and required trainings

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State license to practice as a COTA
  • Experience working with children or in early intervention preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within boroughs
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Mandarin, Haitian Creole, etc.) are a plus
