Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry Level Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in accounting. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in accounting and taxation while working in a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Assist in payroll processing and payroll tax filings.
  • Support preparation of individual and business tax returns.
  • Communicate with clients to gather and verify financial information.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client files.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles such as double entry bookkeeping and accrual accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, QBO).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
