Bay Area Physicians for Women is a well-established OB/GYN practice in Mobile, AL, dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to women throughout every stage of life. We're a fast-paced, patient-focused clinic looking for a reliable and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.

Position Summary

The Front Desk Receptionist is often the first point of contact for our patients. This position requires a warm, professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy medical office environment. You'll work closely with our clinical and billing staff to ensure every patient has a positive experience from check-in to check-out.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
  • Check patients in and out using our EMR system (Greenway PrimeSuite experience a plus)
  • Verify insurance and collect copays
  • Update and maintain accurate patient information
  • Answer and route phone calls promptly and courteously
  • Ensure proper completion of patient forms and paperwork
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Support the front office team with daily administrative and clerical tasks

Qualifications

  • Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred (OB/GYN experience a plus)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in computer use and comfortable learning new software
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule & Compensation

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Benefits available after 90 days (medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, PTO)
