HSSE Advisor - USA

Reporting to: HSSE Manager - USA

Based in: Houston, TX

The position holder will be required to support the implementation and sustainability of the HSSE Program for the US Projects and Operations, with up to 50% travel to company locations.

What will you do?

  • Contractor Safety: Participate in the pre-qualification assessment and ongoing monitoring activities
  • Training: Develop HSSE related training materials for delivery to field personnel
  • Coaching: Provide coaching to new employees on company HSSE requirements
  • Auditing: Manage the annual audit program and participate/lead HSE audits
  • Reporting: Lead the collation of weekly and monthly HSSE reports
  • Incident Management: Support field sites in the completion of incident investigations

What do we need?

  • Availability to travel up to 50% to company sites within the US (mainly in Texas)
  • 10+ years' experience with proven results in delivering HSSE Management System
  • Experience in industrial sites, preferable with construction safety experience
  • Demonstrated experience in HSSE auditing, incident investigations and training is required.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferable
  • Formal qualification/training in a health, safety or environmental discipline
  • Formal certification or ability to obtain certification within 2 years e.g. CSP, IIRSM
