We're looking for a
Fleet Operations Manager
based in
Austin, Texas
, who will play a key role in scaling Autzu's fleet operations across multiple U.S. markets. This person will help manage fleet operations locally and support markets like
San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Toronto
, assisting with vendor management, process optimization, and team leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day fleet operations across Austin and other U.S. markets.
  • Manage and support fleet supervisors and agents, ensuring smooth daily performance, scheduling, and accountability.
  • Coordinate with vendor partners for maintenance, cleaning, towing, and repair services to maintain vehicle uptime.
  • Track key operational metrics such as utilization, downtime, and cost efficiency.
  • Support expansion efforts — assisting in launching and optimizing new fleet markets as Autzu scales.
  • Develop and implement SOPs, reporting frameworks, and process improvements to enhance fleet reliability and performance.
  • Ensure vehicle compliance, maintenance, and safety standards are met across all markets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Operations, and Product teams to improve driver experience and overall fleet performance.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in fleet operations, mobility, logistics, or transportation management.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and vendor relationships across multiple regions.
  • Comfortable being hands-on — able to support light vehicle maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics when needed.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong operational mindset — can balance field work, process management, and strategic initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent operational experience).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Passion for EVs, mobility innovation, and sustainable transportation.
