Caregiver Service Specialist
to join our growing team in the home healthcare field.
As an Caregiver Service Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our field employees and maintaining compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations. From managing employee records to coordinating training and assisting with benefits, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric environment.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and update field employee records, ensuring compliance with DOH mandates
- Conduct monthly follow-ups regarding employee medical compliance
- Review and verify employee files pre- and post-orientation
- Assist in coordinating in-service trainings and employee benefits administration
- Participate in audits and reporting (e.g., I-9, CHRC, vendor audits)
- Recommend disciplinary actions and process terminations when necessary
- Issue employment verification letters
- Support the HR team with various administrative duties as needed

Required Skills & Experience
- Education: High school diploma or higher
- Experience: Previous HR or healthcare experience preferred
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HHA Exchange, and related software
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized: Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- People Skills: Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with NYS DOH regulations for licensed home care agencies
- Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish/English
