**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a board-certified Cardiologist to provide telehealth consultations to patients in correctional facilities up to one day per week. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on an underserved population while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct virtual cardiology consultations, including patient evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

  • Review patient medical histories, diagnostic tests, and imaging provided through secure telehealth platforms.

  • Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up recommendations.

  • Collaborate with on-site healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.

  • Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in compliance with HIPAA and facility regulations.

  • Provide guidance on cardiovascular health, preventive care, and chronic condition management.

**Qualifications:**

  • MD or DO with board certification in Cardiology.

  • Active, unrestricted medical license in [State(s) or specify multi-state licensure eligibility].

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in cardiology; experience in telehealth preferred but not required.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations.

  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

  • Experience or familiarity with correctional healthcare is a plus but not mandatory.

**Requirements:**

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure, private workspace for telehealth visits.

  • Ability to comply with state and federal regulations for telehealth and correctional facility healthcare delivery.

  • Availability for one full day per week (8 hours, flexible scheduling).
