We are seeking an experienced Home Coordinator (HC) with supervisory skills for our faith- based organization in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The HC oversees daily home operations, supervises residents, and collaborates with other members of the team. This role involves supporting women survivors of sexual exploitation and sex trafficking who also have custody of their children.

Available Shift Options:

Saturday AND Sunday- 7pm to 7am or 7am to 7pm (two 12 hour shifts)

OR

Friday PM to Sunday PM (Weekend House Mom)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for residents, children, and volunteers.
  • Coordinate daily activities and schedules for mentees, their children and care team
  • Assist with care requirements, such as intake orientation, groups, reviews, and discharges.
  • Arrange transportation for mentee appointments, support groups, meetings, shopping, and employment.
  • Review and record daily Shift Notes for ongoing awareness of house activities and interactions.
  • Maintain regular communication with the care team and volunteers for safe and effective home operations.
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently, including crises and emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the Case Manager on resident goals requiring care team or community service provider support.
  • Provide progress updates to the Care Director as needed.
  • Attend weekly house meetings for effective communication with the population served.
  • Review and update care forms, intakes, handbook, and other materials for effective operation.

Qualifications

  • Flexible availability, including days, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, counseling, or related field AND at least one year of similar job description work experience preferred.
  • If no degree, must have 2-4 years of similar job description work experience.
  • Knowledge/experience in trauma-informed care and residential services for women and children.
  • Familiarity with Empowerment, Strength-Based skills, and understanding of Trauma, PTSD, and Complex Trauma principles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and crisis management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a positive team member.
  • Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Competent in professional reporting and communication.

Certifications

  • Current, valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and insurance.
  • Successful completion of background checks and random drug testing.
  • Preferred: Current CPR and First-Aid certification.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
