Your Specific Responsibilities:
This OPS position provides administrative and technical support within the Office of Human Resource Management. The incumbent will complete tasks assigned through the HR Ticketing System (Cherwell), assist with data management, and support reporting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, and effective communication with internal staff and external partners.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and administrative practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn HR systems such as People First and Cherwell (HR Ticketing System).
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing work assignments to meet deadlines.
- Skill in running and interpreting reports
- Skill in maintaining data accuracy across multiple systems.
- Skill in using Microsoft Access or similar tools to manage and analyze data.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to analyze data for accuracy and completeness and take corrective action when needed.
- Ability to provide courteous and professional customer service.
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma or equivalent. Possesses basic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access. Proficient using effective written and verbal communication skills.
