Job Summary:
The Paint and Drywall Project Supervisor is responsible for managing all crucial aspects of a paint and drywall project, including material order and pick up notification, safety compliance, quality control, scheduling and coordination of subcontractors, operations, documentation and reporting, and builder and site superintendent communication.
They oversee the construction project and ensure the drawings and selections are being followed and the project is remaining on schedule to meet the builders required completion date. They must possess a detailed understanding of the scope of work and specifications for each project they oversee.
In all tasks, the Paint and Drywall Project Supervisor must follow strict processes and pay attention to detail to ensure no errors or omissions in the project and ensure timeline of the project remains intact. They interact with vendors, subcontractors, team members, and other stakeholders in an ethical manner to find and solve problems and provide detailed daily reports on progress using Timeless Construction PM Software
Key Responsibilities:
- Check material quantities
- Deliver materials if necessary
- Order and deliver fill orders
- Coordinate movement and scheduling of drywall hangers, finishers, and painters
- Coordinate the movement of scaffolding
- Tend to basic Builder Superintendent requests
- Relays information from Builder Superintendent to Crew leaders
- Maintain schedules set by builder superintendent
- Motivate crew leader when necessary
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness
- Note any imperfections in workmanship
Job Qualifications:
- Great communication
- Self-motivated
- Persistent
- Good attention to detail
- Will need to be able to multitask daily
- Highly energetic, positive attitude, and motivated daily to perform tasks and work in stressful work environment.
- Must be extremely organized, take meticulous notes, follow through on duties specified, and have good time management skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Climb and disassemble scaffolding.
- Must be a team player and like to help members of a team with daily tasks with a positive attitude.
- Must be looking for long-term career opportunity with the desire for growth and opportunity.
- Prefer a candidate with specific knowledge or prior experience doing drywall, paint, or construction management.
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus but not required.
