Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Human Resources Benefits Analyst

to provide comprehensive administrative support for employee and house staff insurance and benefits programs. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that all benefits are applied accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations while providing exceptional service to employees and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional, responsive support to employees regarding health, insurance, and leave benefits.
  • Ensure accurate application and administration of benefit programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators to resolve complex benefit inquiries and coverage issues.
  • Assist plan participants in understanding their benefit options, provisions, and limitations.
  • Process and audit invoices and claims reports, identifying discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of legislative and compliance requirements related to benefits administration.
  • Conduct periodic audits of Leave of Absence files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to all employees, visitors, and callers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience administering or supporting employee insurance and benefits programs, including COBRA and related services (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, Section 125/FSA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including spreadsheets, database management, and word processing tools.
  • VLOOKUP experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
