Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both English and Vietnamese, with a solid background in medical office administration. This role is crucial in providing exceptional patient service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring the smooth flow of clinic activities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform insurance verification and assist with medical billing processes.
  • Utilize EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and others for efficient patient management.
  • Assist in the preparation of care plans and documentation review to support clinical staff.
  • Handle clerical tasks including filing, typing, and data entry using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Provide administrative support to medical professionals as needed.
  • Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming at all times.

Some experiences:

  • Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding, and health information management is essential.
  • Experience with medical scheduling and patient service is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including EHR systems and 10-key typing is required.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal communication are necessary.
