Completion of all daily assigned tasks as required for the operation of the hospital pharmacy.

What you will do in this role:

• Accurately filling medication orders on the first dose area from the computer generated log labels and filling medication for the exchange cassettes for the fill list. Fill and deliver floor stock and departmental orders.
• Dosage calculations and calculations of expiration dates.
• Establishing PAR levels.
• Execution of special assignments.
• Expectations Ethics and Compliance 1. All employees will be held accountable for behaviors displayed relative to the values articulated in the Mission and Values Statement. "Will act with absolute honest, integrity and fairness in the way we conduct our business and the way we live our lives." 2. All employees will be held accountable for attending training regarding the Code of Conduct program at least annually.
• Familiarity with dosage forms and storage requirements.
• Filing and related record keeping.
• Filling department and floor stock orders.
• Filling department and floor stock orders.
• Generation of I.V. labels utilizing the computerized systems including basic knowledge of I.V. label printer operation.
• Interpretation of physician medication orders adequate enough to find medication orders for corresponding MAR corrections, handle nursing questions about medication requests and sorting in-coming medication orders.
• Keeping a "short list" for inventory ordering.
• Knowledge and execution of computer related functions, i.e., generation of standard daily reports, admissions, discharge, transfers, and debit/credit charge functions.
• Other duties as requested by Pharmacist.
