Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Deep expertise in Guidewire architecture (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) including configuration, integration, and data model.
- Strong experience in Guidewire Cloud platform, SaaS architecture, and migration strategies.
- Hands-on knowledge of Guidewire Upgrade process from on-prem v10 to Guidewire Cloud.
- Proficiency in Integration design (Messaging, Batch, Plugins, REST APIs, GOSU).
- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud tools (Cloud Console, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD).
- Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domain and business processesExperience with APD (Advanced Product Designer) and Rating is a plus. · Knowledge of data migration strategies, performance tuning, and security compliance in cloud environments. · Agile delivery experience and ability to work across distributed teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end architecture for migration from on-prem Guidewire v10 to Guidewire Cloud.
- Assess current on-prem implementation and design cloud-ready solutions for configuration, integration, and data migration.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Configuration Leads, and Integration teams to ensure alignment with Guidewire best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on remediation and optimization backlog items for cloud upgrade.
- Establish DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Guidewire Cloud deployments.
- Ensure compliance with Guidewire Cloud standards, security, and performance benchmarks.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and provide mentorship to technical teams.
- Act as a primary liaison with Guidewire for architecture-related discussions and approvals.
- Support risk assessment, dependency management, and mitigation strategies for migration
