Work you'll do As an Insurance Solutions Senior Consultant specializing in Guidewire ClaimCenter development, you will bring technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients and partner with clients and delivery teams. You will work in a team-based environment, partnering directly with clients, fellow Industry Solutions professionals, and Deloitte consultants from complimentary disciplines. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role on the team, gathering and analyzing requirements and translating them into technical requirements; configuring and customizing Guidewire ClaimCenter to support end-to-end claims processes; building integrations between Guidewire and external systems such as payment gateways, document management, and third party data sources; and supporting data migration activities including mapping, transformation and validation from legacy systems to Guidewire. As a Senior Consultant within the Industry Solutions practice, you will also be expected to lead junior resources, participate in professional development and contribute to initiatives that promote Deloitte's strategic goals and culture. Qualifications Required: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field + 4+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter (Guidewire InsuranceSuite experience and ClaimCenter focus required for this role). + At least 3 years of experience as a Guidewire Developer in insurance or consulting environments + 2+ years experience with Java/J2EE tech stack with knowledge of the SDLC and integration frameworks + 2+ years experience working in one of the following insurance sub service areas: User Experience, Integration, Configuration, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration, Underwriting or Distribution + Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve + Limited sponsorship may be available Preferred: + Advanced degree + Proficiency in Guidewire configuration and integration (Gosu scripting, Guidewire Studio, Data Model, Product Model) + Guidewire ACE Certification + Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines + Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600 - $198,400.
