Driver (Class A CDL)

Class A CDL local driver is responsible for transporting goods within a specific local area. This position includes the following duties and responsibilities:
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products from and onto the truck.
Driving: Operate the truck to the designated location.
Delivery: Ensure the safe delivery of goods to clients.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the vehicle.
Compliance: Comply with local driving laws and regulations.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
The ideal candidate for this role must meet the following qualifications:
- Must hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A) and all required DOT documentation.
- Must have an excellent driving record, and familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
- Must be able to navigate equipment and the truck with ease, including multiple entry and exit points from the truck and/or equipment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs continuously. The work environment is typically local routes with home every night, and the role involves physical activity including lifting and carrying products.
