As a Summer Intern at Black & Veatch, you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world's most critical infrastructure challenges. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse, impactful projects that support our clients' goals while fostering your professional growth and advancing the success of Black & Veatch.

In this position, potential office locations could include: 

To demonstrate leadership and adaptability, with the willingness to take ownership of tasks or projects

Develop project plans with the intention of delivering requirements such as resources, timing/milestones, and risks

The ability to achieve goals and success across functionalities

Drive to overcome the most challenging obstacles and look for ways to improve results

Collaborate on projects that utilize cloud native, scripting, and generative AI to enhance the capabilities and development of AI and automation products.

Learning Opportunities:

Assist with cloud automation initiatives

Assist with developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible

Experience with writing technical documentation, processes, procedures, and project plans.

· Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related major

·Interests in cloud, AI, networking, etc.,  

Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).

· Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in data and produce relevant visualization.

· Knowledge and practical use of Python or other scripting languages for data analysis.

· Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and the desire to learn.

Current enrollment in Information Technology or related degree program. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

This internship position is expected to be in the office on a full-time basis.
