As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver Government in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the government location.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents or irregularities according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence as an armed Allied Universal representative to help to deter potential threats and/or disruptive behavior.
• Communicate promptly with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required by site-specific policies.
• Complete required logs and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• An active armed guard card or license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
