Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, protecting property and personnel, and ensuring compliance with property ruels. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Duties

  • Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Respond promptly to calls for service ad incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary.
  • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order at client locations.
  • Patrol multiple properties nightly and complete reports with activity and photos.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or assist in investigations.
  • Document all security-related incidents accurately and maintain detailed reports for review.
  • Drive safely and efficiently, using defensive driving techniques and obey all traffic laws.
  • This position would require the use of personally owned vehicle. Car allowance, fuel and other allowances would be provided.
  • Positions have 90 day probationary period.
  • Top pay scale would require for candidates to be experienced in multi-property vehicle patrols, web-based reporting applications, history of job stability and proven job skills.

  • Officers must have an active Level 3 commission card in hand. No certificates.
  • Job history will be checked via TOPS and pre-employment background and drug testing will be conducted.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
  • Experience in conflict management, demonstrating the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
  • Background in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in multi-property vehicle patrol is necessary.
