What You'll Do:

• Screen employees, visitors, and/or vehicles as they enter and exit the manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by engaging with individuals in a professional manner while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access control points and maintain visitor logs as required by site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and/or random patrols around the facility's designated screening areas and perimeter to help to deter prohibited items or activities.
• Report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations promptly to supervisors and document details as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
