Surgical Dental Assistant – Join Our Friendly Periodontal Practice

Location: Palm Harbor, FL

Pay: $20–$24/HR (Based on experience)

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday + Every Other Thursday

Start Date: ASAP, Would like the candidate to be open to a 1-week paid working interview

We're a privately owned periodontal and implant practice in Palm Harbor, and we're on the lookout for an awesome second Surgical Assistant to join our growing team

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting during periodontal surgeries, extractions, and implant procedures
  • Working with local anesthesia, nitrous, and IV sedation
  • Taking x-rays, impressions, cone beams, and intraoral photos
  • Pouring models and assisting with prosthetic adjustments/relining
  • Perio charting in Dentrix (MUST know Dentrix)
  • Monitoring vitals, prepping patients, and giving clear pre- and post-op instructions
  • Keeping our surgical space squeaky clean and sterile

  • Previous oral surgery or surgical assisting experience is a must
  • Confident and comfortable with Dentrix and perio charting
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a great multitasker
